According to the latest statistics, the market size of China's plastic products industry in 2023 has reached an astonishing 1666.107 billion yuan, fully demonstrating the vitality and potential of the industry.
In terms of output, according to the data of the National Bureau of Statistics in 2023, China's plastic products industry has shown a strong growth momentum. The total output of aggregate statistics enterprises for the year reached 74.885 million tons, an increase of 3.0% over the same period last year, showing that the industry still has significant growth potential. It is worth noting that this growth rate is only slightly different from the pre-pandemic 2019, when the growth rate was 3.9%.
In the subdivision of plastic products, the output of plastic sheet tube profiles, plastic wire ropes and woven goods, plastic packaging boxes and containers, plastic parts and other plastic products accounted for the largest proportion, reaching a total of 46.517 million tons, accounting for 62.1%. Followed by plastic film, the output of 17.773,000 tons, accounting for 23.7%, it is worth noting that the production of agricultural film was 820,000 tons, an increase of 6.9% over the same period last year. At the same time, the production of foam also showed a trend of 6.1% year-on-year growth. However, the production of daily plastics and plastic artificial leather and synthetic leather decreased by 7.1% and 1.1%, respectively.
