According to statistics, in April, the total output of enterprises in China's plastic products industry reached 6.706 million tons, representing a year-on-year growth of 2.1%. From January to April, the cumulative output reached 25.158 million tons, representing a year-on-year growth of 6.4%.
According to another data, the export value of plastics and their products in April was 12.39 billion US dollars, increasing by 0.8% year-on-year. The import value was 5.12 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 4.3%. From January to April, the total export value of plastics and their products was 46.13 billion US dollars, increasing by 0.7% year-on-year. The total import volume was 19.31 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 2.6%, and the trade surplus was 26.82 billion US dollars.
